St. Cloud Norsemen score twice in the third to beat Bismarck Bobcats

The St. Cloud Norsemen defeated the Bismarck Bobcats 5-3. The game was tied after two periods, but St. Cloud pulled away in the third to claim a victory.

The St. Cloud Norsemen defeated the Bismarck Bobcats 5-3. The game was tied after two periods, but St. Cloud pulled away in the third to claim a victory.

The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Bobcats took the lead when Julian Beaumont opened the scoring assisted by Patrick Johnson and Adam Pietila.

Five minutes into the period, the Norsemen made it 1-1 with a goal from Ryan Cutler.

The Norsemen made it 2-1 halfway through when Daniels Murnieks scored the first goal, assisted by Blake Perbix and Hunter Hanson.

Bobcats' Drew Holt tallied a goal late, making the score 2-2. Erik Atchison and Chase Beacom assisted.

The Norsemen took the lead, after only 13 seconds into the third period when Broten Sabo found the back of the net, assisted by Duke Kiffin and Ryan Cutler.

Kade Peterson increased the lead to 4-2 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Chase Cheslock and Wyatt Wurst.

Carter Krenke narrowed the gap to 4-3 just one minute later, assisted by Alexander Palchik and Landon Fleming.

The Norsemen increased the lead to 5-3 with 57 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Hunter Hanson, assisted by Blake Perbix.
