Springfield Jr. Blues couldn't stop star-studded Fairbanks Ice Dogs from winning
The Springfield Jr. Blues and the Fairbanks Ice Dogs met on Friday. Fairbanks came into the game off the back of a run of four successive wins and managed to claim yet another vicory. The game finished 4-1.

The Ice Dogs opened strong, right at the beginning of the game with Tyler Herzberg scoring in the first period, goal.
The Ice Dogs took the lead 2-0 when Brady Welsch beat the goalie with 06.32 remaining in the second period and came even closer to victory.
The Jr. Bues narrowed the gap to 2-1 after Paul DeSaro netted one in the period.
The Ice Dogs scored in the third, with goals from Cameron Ricotta and Kole Altergott. The final goal came with 49 seconds left to play.
