Solid victory for Mudbugs

The Shreveport Mudbugs won their home game against the El Paso Rhinos. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 5-0.

The hosting team took the lead, with a goal scored by Austin Brimmer. Evan Mitchell assisted.

The Mudbugs scored in the second, receiving goals from Connor Gatto, Logan Gotinsky and Burke Simpson.

In the end the 5-0 came from Niklas Miller who increased the Mudbugs' lead goal, assisted by Logan Valkama, at late into the period. That left the final score at 5-0.

The Mudbugs were called for 15 penalties, while the Rhinos spent 19 minutes in the penalty box.
