The IceRays narrowed the gap to 3-1 after Anthony Cafarelli beat the goalie in the game.

The IceRays came back once again, making it 3-2 after Jack Wandmacher found the back of the net in the second period.

The Ice Wolves scored again, making it 4-2 with a goal from William Howard with 02.22 remaining in the period.

The IceRays came back and scored, making it 5-3, but then the New Mexico Ice Wolves' William Howard netted one on a pass by Yusaku Ando to make it 6-3 with eight minutes of play remaining. The Corpus Christi IceRays managed to get in two goals in the end, making the final score 5-6.
