The host Anchorage Wolverines claimed three points against the hosting Chippewa Steel on Saturday in their game. The final score was 6-3.
The visiting Wolverines took the lead early into the first period, with a goal scored by Gage Brown. Logan Lyke and Cooper Morris assisted.
The Steel tied it up with a goal from Kade Nielsen in the middle of the first, assisted by Matthew Brille and Bryceon Lago.
The Wolverines scored again late in the first when Jackson Reineke scored, assisted by Danny Reis and Wilson Dahlheimer.
The next goal was long overdue. Aiden Westin scored late in the second period, assisted by Cameron Morris and Clay Allen.

The Steel narrowed the gap to 3-2 after Kade Nielsen found the back of the net in the third period.
The Wolverines then claimed three straight goals in as the team increased their lead from 3-2 to 6-2 in just 4:44.
Kade Nielsen narrowed the gap somewhat, but the Steel didn't come any closer than 6-3. The Anchorage Wolverines took a solid victory.
