The host Chippewa Steel claimed three points against the visiting Anchorage Wolverines on Friday in their game. The final score was 5-2.

The Steel opened strong, early in the game with J.J. Grainda scoring in the first minute, goal assisted by Joe Kelly.

The Steel increased the lead to 2-0 quickly in the first period when Jackson Bisson scored, goal.

The Wolverines scored in the first period when Mason LeBel scored, assisted by Kade Shea.

The Steel's Kade Nielsen increased the lead to 3-1 in the first period, assisted by Matthew Brille.

The Steel scored in the second, with two quick goals from Jackson Bisson (2) and Matthew Brille.

In the third period, Jackson Reineke scored late in the third period, assisted by Cooper Morris and Clay Allen, for a final score of 5-2.
