The first period was scoreless, and late in the second period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves players took the lead when William Howard opened the scoring assisted by JD Metz and Aidan Emerson.

Ryan Burke tied the game 1-1 early into the third period, assisted by Kason Muscutt.

Jaden Goldie took the lead nine minutes later, assisted by Logan Heroux and Maksim Sushchynski.
