The Ice Dogs opened strong, taking the lead when Brady Welsch opened the scoring after 15:24, but the Wilderness' Gunnar Thoreson tied it up at the end of the period.
The Wilderness scored in the second, with goals from Nicholas Rexine and Barrett Hall.
The Wilderness continued to be dominant in the third period and won 5-1 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Alex Pineau and Nicholas Rexine.
