The IceRays tied it late into the first period, after a Dominic Foglia's goal assisted by Peteris Purmalis.

The Rebels scored again late in the first period, after a Matt Lewis' goal assisted by Dylan Blue.

After that the game entered an indecisive standstill. Connor Sedlak scored in the middle of the second period, assisted by klaus jogi.
