Rebels beat Hat Tricks in overtime

Lucas Klemm made it 2-2, after a second-period goal with a minute left into the period, assisted by Ryan Waltman.

The third period was scoreless, bringing the game into overtime.

In overtime, it took 2:07 before John Lundy scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Jak Vaarwerk and Lucas Klemm.

The Hat Tricks were called for 28 penalties, while the Rebels spent 23 minutes in the penalty box.

With this win the Rebels have nine straight victories.

Hat Tricks host the Maine Nordiques on Wednesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. CST at Danbury Ice Arena. Rebels will face the Maryland Black Bears on Thursday, April 4 at 3:30 p.m. CST at Piney Orchard Ice Arena.
