The Odessa Jackalopes beat the visiting Wichita Falls Warriors on Saturday, ending 6-2.

The Warriors opened strong, taking the lead when Cade Lemmer scored the first goal after 12:12, but the Jackalopes' Frank Dovorany tied it up just one minute later.

The Warriors took the lead 2-1 again when Carter Korpi beat the goalie after 2:45 in the second period.

The Jackalopes turned the game around when they made three straight goals and went from 2-1 to 4-2.

The Jackalopes continued to be dominant in the third period and won 6-2 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Tanyon Bajzer and John Perdion.

The Jackalopes were called for 61 penalty minutes, while the Warriors received 70 minutes.

The Jackalopes host the New Mexico Ice Wolves on Friday at 7:15 p.m. CST at Ector County Coliseum. The Warriors will face the Shreveport Mudbugs home on Wednesday at 6:05 p.m. CST at Kay Yeager Coliseum.
