Northeast Generals win at home against Johnstown Tomahawks

The Northeast Generals won when they visited the Johnstown Tomahawks on Saturday. The final score was 7-3.

The Northeast Generals won when they visited the Johnstown Tomahawks on Saturday. The final score was 7-3.

The Tomahawks started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with David Matousek scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Dylan Shane.

The Generals' Jake LaRusso tied the game 1-1 late into the first period, assisted by Jackson McCarthy and Paul Minnehan.

The Generals took the lead with a goal from David Andreychuk with a minute left in the first, assisted by Paul Minnehan and Ryan Schelling.

The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Generals.

Jake LaRusso increased the lead to 5-2 early in the third period, assisted by Joseph Schubert and David Andreychuk.

James Barbour narrowed the gap to 5-3 four minutes later, assisted by Nick Ahern.

Jake LaRusso increased the lead to 6-3 six minutes later, assisted by Sixten Jennersjo and Emerson Miller.

Ryan Schelling increased the lead to 7-3 just one minute later, assisted by David Andreychuk and Paul Minnehan.
