The hosting Generals took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Paul Minnehan. David Andreychuk and Ryan Schelling assisted.
The Nordiques' John-Paul Steele tied it up in the middle of the first period, assisted by Anthony Achille.
The Generals scored again with a goal from Jackson McCarthy late in the first, assisted by Cullen DeYoung.

The Generals also started off strong in the third period. The team got up to a 4-1 lead. The Nordiques came back and scored, making it 4-2, but then the Northeast Generals' Jackson McCarthy found the back of the net assisted by Paul Minnehan and David Andreychuk to make it 5-2 with 10 minutes of play remaining. The Maine Nordiques managed to get in two goals in the end, making the final score 5-4.
