The game-winning goal was scored by Northeast's Jake LaRusso.
The Nordiques opened strong, taking the lead when Kellen Murphy scored the first goal after 4:16, but the Generals' Jared Scott tied it up just one minute later.
The Generals quickly scored two more goals in the second period to take a commanding lead.
The Nordiques narrowed and then closed the gap at 3-3 with goals from Hallberg Henrik and Laurent Trepanier in the second period.

Jake LaRusso scored halfway through the third period, assisted by Paul Minnehan and David Andreychuk, and got the win.
The Nordiques were whistled for 9 penalties, while the Generals received 8 penalties.
The Generals have now won four games in a row.
