Nordiques reverse deficit and win
The Maine Nordiques struggled and were losing 1-3 after two periods game against the Johnstown Tomahawks. However, the team reversed the deficit to win with a final result of 8-3.
The Maine Nordiques struggled and were losing 1-3 after two periods game against the Johnstown Tomahawks. However, the team reversed the deficit to win with a final result of 8-3.
The Nordiques started the first period strongly and tied the game at 1-0 when Brendan Gibbons opened the scoring after just 1:45.
After that though, it was mostly about the Tomahawks. The Johnstown Tomahawks regained the lead after 6:47, and eventually pulled ahead with a 3-1 lead.
But the Nordiques made three straight goals and went from 3-1 to 4-3.
The Nordiques scored in the third, receiving goals from Brendan Gibbons (2), Zion Green, Aidan Connolly and Theo Thrun (2). The final goal came with 02.23 left to play.

The Nordiques were whistled for 10 penalties, while the Tomahawks spent 12 minutes in the penalty box.
The teams will soon play again in the next matchup on Saturday, April 6 at 6 p.m. CST at The Colisee.
