The game between the Northeast Generals and the hosting Maine Nordiques finished 6-1. Maine's victory puts an end to a five-game losing streak.
The hosting Nordiques took the lead at 15:49 in the first period, with a goal scored by Brendan Gibbons. Aidan Connolly and Zion Green assisted on the play.
The Generals started the third period strongly and tied the game at 1-1 when Alex Krause netted one after 25 seconds.
After that though, it was mostly about the Nordiques. The Maine Nordiques regained the lead after 1:13, and eventually pulled ahead with a 6-1 victory. The team made fem goals in 16 minutes.
The Nordiques were whistled for 16 penalty minutes, while the Generals received 14 minutes.

Ahead of the game, the Generals had six straight wins.
The teams now have the chance to fine-tune their tactics, as they play each other again in the next matchup on Saturday at 6 p.m. CST at The Colisee.
