The Ice Wolves took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Graham Harris. Hunter Hastings and Dillon Kuntz assisted.
The IceRays tied the game 1-1 in the middle of the first when Hans Martin Ulvebne scored, assisted by Frank Jenkins.
Reese Shaw scored late into the second period, assisted by Andrew Carls and Aidan Emerson.
With a minute left, Yusaku Ando scored a goal, assisted by Jeff Hutchinson and Aidan Emerson, making the score 3-1.
Camden Benson increased the lead to 4-1 early in the third period, assisted by Sully Scholle and Ryan Johnson.
Nikolai Dulak increased the lead to 5-1 three minutes later, assisted by Tony Leahy and Graham Harris.
Yusaku Ando increased the lead to 6-1 just one minute later, assisted by Andrew Carls and Hunter Hastings.
Hans Martin Ulvebne narrowed the gap to 6-2 five minutes later, assisted by Leonhard Korus.
