The Northeast Generals players started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Ryan Schelling scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Paul Minnehan and David Andreychuk.
The Northeast Generals players increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first period when Joseph Schubert scored, assisted by Andrew DellaDonna and Joseph Mcgraw.
Ryan Novo scored halfway through the second period, assisted by Owen Luik and Marcus Sang.

Halfway through, the Northeast Generals' players Jake LaRusso scored a goal, assisted by Bryce Cooper and Jared Scott, making the score 3-1.
Levente Keresztes narrowed the gap to 3-2 early in the third period.
Robert Hyde tied the game 3-3 late into the third assisted by Michael Young and Ben Yurchuk. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.
In overtime, it took 3:17 before Ben Yurchuk scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Levente Keresztes.
The Northeast Generals players were called for 7 penalties, while the New Jersey Titans players received 8 penalties.
