The New Jersey Titans beat the visiting Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks 5-2 on Friday.

The hosting team took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Michael Young. Levente Keresztes and Brady Hildreth assisted.

The Titans increased the lead to 2-0 in the middle of the first when Robert Hyde scored, assisted by Owen Luik and Ben Yurchuk.

Anthony Calafiore scored halfway through the second period, assisted by Eric Charpentier and Joe Harney.

Late, the Hat Tricks made it 3-1 with a goal from Logan Furstenau.

The Titans increased the lead to 4-1 early into the third period when Ben Muthersbaugh scored, assisted by Joe Harney and Brendan Dumas.

Robert Hyde increased the lead to 5-1 four minutes later, assisted by Brian Robertson and Owen Luik.

Ryan Johnson narrowed the gap to 5-2 eight minutes later, assisted by Wyatt Stefan and Luka Sukovic.
