The visiting Mudbugs started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Niklas Miller scoring in the first minute, goal assisted by Drake Morse and Logan Valkama.

The Mudbugs scored once again, making it 2-0 with a goal from Niklas Miller after 9:36 in the third period.

The Wilderness narrowed the gap to 2-1 after Cole Gordon scored in the period.

The Mudbugs managed to decide the game 3-1 with 49 seconds left when Hayden Nichol beat the goalie.
