Mudbugs win in third period

The first period was scoreless.
The Jackalopes scored again, making it 1-0 with a goal from Christopher Duclair after 3:14 in the second period.
The Mudbugs came back and made it 1-1 after Garrett Steele opened the scoring in the period.
In the third period, Lukas Sedlacek scored five minutes into the third period, assisted by Davis Goukler, and got the win. With that, the Shreveport Mudbugs turned the game around. That left the final score 2-1.

The Jackalopes were whistled for 12 penalty minutes, while the Mudbugs received eight minutes.
With this win the Mudbugs have four straight victories.
On Friday, Jackalopes will play the Amarillo Wranglers at 7:05 p.m. CST at Budweiser Bull Pen, and Mudbugs will play the Corpus Christi IceRays at 7:11 p.m. CST at George's Pond Hirsch Coliseum.
