Mudbugs win 4-1 on road against Jackalopesthe Shreveport Mudbugs won on road on Friday, handing the Odessa Jackalopes a defeat 4-1.

The Mudbugs dominated the first period, receiving goals from Austin Brimmer, Jake Mack, Lukas Sedlacek and Timofei Khokhlachev.

Emerson Goode scored at 2:03 into the second, assisted by Justin Hughes and Trevor Taulien, to give the Jackalopes the lead.

The third period was scoreless as the Mudbugs held on to their 4-1 lead and won.

The Jackalopes were called for 14 penalty minutes, while the Mudbugs received 10 minutes.

These teams will soon play each other again in the next matchup on Saturday at 7:15 p.m. CST at Ector County Coliseum.
