The visiting Minot Minotauros players started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Nick O'hanisain scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Hunter Longhi and Chase LaPinta.
The North Iowa Bulls players tied the game 1-1 late into the first period when Blake Johnson scored, assisted by Willy Johnson.
Nick O'hanisain took the lead in the middle of the third period, assisted by Trevor Stachowiak and Colby Joseph.
Chase LaPinta increased the lead to 3-1 five minutes later, assisted by Hunter Longhi and Justin Dauphinais.

The North Iowa Bulls players narrowed the gap to 3-2 with 59 seconds of play remaining in the third after a goal from Max Scott, assisted by Logan Dombrowsky and Justin Mexico.
The Minot Minotauros players increased the lead to 4-2 with 20 seconds of play remaining into the third after a goal from Tory Lund, assisted by Weston Knox and Nick Sewecke.
The North Iowa Bulls players narrowed the gap to 4-3 with five seconds of play remaining in the third after a goal from Paavo Hiltunen, assisted by Blake Johnson and Willy Johnson.
The Minot Minotauros players have now won four games in a row.
