The Minot Minotauros players increased the lead to 2-0 late into the first when Jack O'hanisain scored, assisted by John Emmons.

In overtime, it took 2:08 before Trevor Stachowiak scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Nick O'hanisain and Colby Joseph.
