Maine Nordiques' winning streak broken by Northeast Generals

The Maine Nordiques have enjoyed a great period of success and ahead of the home game against the Northeast Generals, Maine was on a run of six straight wins. But, Friday's game at The Colisee finished 3-1 and the winning streak was ended.

The Maine Nordiques have enjoyed a great period of success and ahead of the home game against the Northeast Generals, Maine was on a run of six straight wins. But, Friday's game at The Colisee finished 3-1 and the winning streak was ended.

The Generals opened strong, with Nick Ramm scoring early into the first period, a goal assisted by Tyler Ramm and Joseph Schubert.

Kellen Murphy tied the game 1-1 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Brendan Gibbons and Aidan Coupe.

The Generals took the lead with 59 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Sixten Jennersjo, assisted by Jared Scott and Jake LaRusso.

The Generals increased the lead to 3-1 with 37 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Paul Minnehan, assisted by Matthew DeSpirt and David Andreychuk.
