The Maine Nordiques won at home on Tuesday, handing the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks a defeat 8-1.

The Nordiques took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Brendan Gibbons. Filip Wiberg and Jonny Meiers assisted.

The Nordiques increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Kellen Murphy in the middle of the first, assisted by Brendan Kimball and Brendan Gibbons.

The Nordiques' Jonny Meiers increased the lead to 3-0 with a minute left in the first, assisted by Filip Wiberg and Henrik Hallberg.

The second period ended with a 5-0 lead for the Nordiques.

The Hat Tricks narrowed the gap to 5-1 within the first minute when Ryan Johnson netted one.

Anthony Achille increased the lead to 6-1 nine minutes later, assisted by Brendan Kimball.

Filip Wiberg increased the lead to 7-1 three minutes later, assisted by Henrik Hallberg and Nicholas Bernardo.

The Nordiques increased the lead to 8-1 with 01.06 remaining of the third period after a goal from Nicholas Bernardo, assisted by Henrik Hallberg and Seth Murch.
