Maine Nordiques keep on winning and now have six straight wins

It was smooth sailing for the Maine Nordiques as they claimed another victory on Saturday against the Philadelphia Rebels, making it six in a row. They won 6-3 over Philadelphia Rebels.

It was smooth sailing for the Maine Nordiques as they claimed another victory on Saturday against the Philadelphia Rebels, making it six in a row. They won 6-3 over Philadelphia Rebels.

The visiting Nordiques took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Oliver Genest.

The Nordiques increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Patrick Schmiedlin in the first period, assisted by Brendan Kimball and Oliver Genest.

Four goals were scored in the second period, and the Nordiques led 4-2 going in to the third period.

Oliver Genest increased the lead to 5-2 early in the third period, assisted by Anthony Achille.

Matt Lewis narrowed the gap to 5-3 three minutes later, assisted by Tyler Stern and klaus jogi.

The Nordiques increased the lead to 6-3 with 55 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Henrik Hallberg.

The teams play their next games on Friday. The Rebels will host the Black Bears at 6:30 p.m. CST at Piney Orchard Ice Arena, and the Nordiques will visit the Generals at 6:05 p.m. CST at The Colisee.
