Luther's two goals net Austin Bruins victory over Bismarck Bobcats

The Austin Bruins defeated the hosting Bismarck Bobcats on Friday, ending 5-3.

The visiting team took the lead in the first period, a goal by Josh Giuliani. Gavin Morrissey and Ocean Wallace assisted.

The Bobcats tied the score 1-1 early in the second period when Patrick Johnson netted one.

Halfway through, the Austin Bruins players made it 2-1 with a goal from Austin Salani.

Ethan Lindahl then tallied a goal with a minute left, making the score 3-1. Austin Salani and Jackson Luther assisted.

The Bobcats narrowed the gap to 3-2 early into the third period when Julian Beaumont scored, assisted by Mitch Simmons and Nolan Nenow.

The Austin Bruins players increased the lead to 4-2 early in the third when Jackson Luther found the back of the net, assisted by Ethan Lindahl and Adler Johnston.

The Bobcats narrowed the gap to 4-3 with 01.07 of play remaining into the third after a goal from Evan Hunter, assisted by Michael Neumeier and Vertti Jantunen.

The Austin Bruins players increased the lead to 5-3 with 13 seconds of play remaining in the third after a goal from Jackson Luther, assisted by Austin Salani and Nate Looft.
