The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Jr. Bues took the lead when Nikita Nikora opened the scoring assisted by Tyler Borgula and Scott Miner.
Five minutes into the period, the Brown Bears' Bryce Monrean scored a goal, assisted by Hunter Newhouse, making the score 1-1.
The Brown Bears made it 2-1 late when Noah Holt scored, assisted by Luke Hause.
The Brown Bears increased the lead to 3-1 with 01.10 of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Nick Stevens.
