Jr. Bues decide in third period
In the first two periods of the game, the road-team Minnesota Magicians held out fine against the league-leading Springfield Jr. Blues. Springfield fought back in the third period and won the game 6-1.

The Magicians scored again, making it 1-0 with a goal from Jon Bell after 8:56 in the second period.
The Jr. Bues turned the game around when they made three straight goals and went from 1-0 to 3-1 in just 4. 59.
The Jr. Bues continued to be dominant in the third period and won 6-1 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Tristan Shewchuk, Carson Jones and Tristan Shewchuk.
