The hosting team took the lead at 15:13 into the first period, with a goal scored by Connor Mahony. Evan Tanos and Chris Kernan assisted on the play.
The Magicians started the second period strong, receiving goals from Owen Vantassel, Gavin Best and Chris Kernan.
In the third period, the Magicians held on to their 4-0 lead and won.
The Magicians were called for 24 penalty minutes, while the Steel received 14 minutes.

Both teams are back in action on Friday, with the Magicians hosting the Springfield Jr. Blues at 7 p.m. CST at Richfield Ice Arena, and the Steel visiting the Janesville Jets at 7 p.m. CST at Chippewa Area Ice Arena.
