The first period was scoreless.
It wasn't until 15:27 into the second period that the Ice Wolves took the lead when Tony Leahy opened the scoring goal assisted by Wilmer Svensson.
The Ice Wolves increased the lead to 2-0 with 01.54 of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Tony Leahy, assisted by Mitchell Becker.
The Jackalopes were called for eight penalty minutes, while the Ice Wolves spent 12 minutes in the penalty box.

On Friday the Jackalopes will play home against the Shreveport Mudbugs at 7:15 p.m. CST at Ector County Coliseum, while the Ice Wolves will face the Wichita Falls Warriors road at 7:05 p.m. CST at Kay Yeager Coliseum.
