The visiting Ice Dogs took the lead at 4:38 into the first period, with a goal scored by Jake Hale. Tyler Stewart and Jack Ring assisted on the play.
The Brown Bears tied it back up at 8:23 of the period, after a Kaden Hjelm goal assisted by Kris Zapata and Brendan Hill.
The Brown Bears also took the lead at 18:07 of the period, after a Max Marquette goal assisted by Ryan Finch.
Tristan Sarsland scored at 8:50 into the second, assisted by Kevin Marx Noren and Love Bergvall, to give the Ice Dogs the lead.

The Ice Dogs scored in the third, receiving goals from Jacob Conrad and Alexander Malinowski. The final goal came with 01.29 left to play.
The Brown Bears were called for 14 penalty minutes, while the Ice Dogs received 12 minutes.
These teams meet again on Saturday at 10:30 p.m. CST, this time in Kenai River at Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
