The Ice Dogs started the game strong, with goals from McCabe Dvorak and Cameron Ricotta.
The Ice Dogs made it 3-0 with a goal from Gavin Waltz at 7:21 into the second period.
The Wilderness narrowed the gap to 3-1 after Teddy Merrill netted one in the period.
The Ice Dogs scored again, making it 4-1 with a goal from Marc Lund with 05.53 remaining in the period and came even closer to victory.

The Wilderness came back once again, making it 4-2 after Joe Cesario found the back of the net in the period.
The Ice Dogs continued to be dominant in the third period and won 6-2 in the end. The goals in the final period were scored by Justin Biraben and Kevin Marx Noren.
