The Fairbanks Ice Dogs won their road game against the Kenai River Brown Bears on Saturday, ending 6-3.

The Brown Bears opened strong, taking the lead when Carson Triggs scored the first goal after 8:32, but the Ice Dogs' Braden Lindstrom tied it up just three minutes later.

Carson Triggs scored at 24 seconds into the second, assisted by Parker Lockwood and Max Marquette, to give the Brown Bears the lead.

Ice Dogs' in the second, Jake Hale scored a goal at 4:24, assisted by Tyler Stewart and Jack Ring, increasing the lead to 2-2 for the Ice Dogs.

Nick Ostbloom scored at 5:02 into the second, assisted by Ryan Finch and Barak Braslavski, to give the Brown Bears the lead.

Ice Dogs' Maksis Brimanis made it 3-3, after a second-period goal at 6:08, assisted by McCabe Dvorak and Jacob Conrad.

The Ice Dogs went up 4-3 after 15:45 in the period when Tristan Sarsland found his mark, assisted by Alexander Malinowski and Jacob Conrad.

The third period remained scoreless for a long time. With two quick goals from Kevin Marx Noren and Jack Ring at 2:36 apart near the end of the game and decided it. The final goal came with 01.02 left to play.

Both teams were called for four penalty minutes.

Both teams will be back in action on Friday when Brown Bears host the Minnesota Magicians at 10:30 p.m. CST at Soldotna Regional Sports Complex and Ice Dogs welcome the Anchorage Wolverines at 10:30 p.m. CST at Big Dipper Ice Arena.
