The St. Cloud Norsemen defeated the visiting Aberdeen Wings 6-2 on Saturday.

The Norsemen started off well with a 2-0 lead with goals from Peyton Hanson and Brandon Lajoie.

The Wings narrowed the gap to 2-1 after Ronan Walsh netted one in the second period.

The Norsemen took the lead 3-1 again when Hunter Hanson beat the goalie after 7:54 in the period.

The Wings came back once again, making it 3-2 after Owen DuBois scored in the third period.

The Norsemen then claimed three straight goals in as the team increased their lead from 3-2 to 6-2 in just 8:08. The St. Cloud Norsemen thereby took a clear victory.

The teams play again on Friday, May 13 at 7:15 p.m. CST at Odde Ice Center.
