Fairbanks Ice Dogs got a shut out against Chippewa Steel

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs picked up a decisive home win against the Chippewa Steel. The game ended in a shutout, 5-0.

The hosting Fairbanks Ice Dogs players took the lead in the first period, a goal by Kole Altergott. Sam Berry and Billy Renfrew assisted.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs' players Marc Lund increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by Jacob Conrad and Tyler Herzberg.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs players increased the lead to 3-0 early into the second period when Joey Potter found the back of the net, assisted by Billy Renfrew and Kole Altergott.

Billy Renfrew then tallied a goal late, making the score 4-0. Kole Altergott and Cameron Ricotta assisted.

The Fairbanks Ice Dogs players made it 5-0 when Tyler Herzberg beat the goalie, assisted by Brady Welsch and Domenick Evtimov in the middle of the third period. That left the final score at 5-0.
