El Paso's Bo Cosman scored the game-winning goal.

The Rhinos opened strong, with Frank Tafelski scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Luke Morris.

The Rhinos increased the lead to 2-0 early into the first period when AJ Reed scored the first goal, assisted by Vlad Zaicevs and Kolby Amici.

The IceRays narrowed the gap to 2-1 late in the first when Stepan Kuznetsov scored, assisted by Cameron Crolley and Ryan Hintz.

The second period ended with a 4-3 lead for the IceRays.

The Rhinos tied the score 4-4 within the first minute when Jacob Roberson found the back of the net, assisted by Frank Tafelski.

The Rhinos took the lead early into the third period when AJ Reed netted one again, assisted by Kolby Amici and Tristan Kimmen.

Blake Lewis tied the game 5-5 late in the third, assisted by Hans Martin Ulvebne and Peteris Purmalis. With this tie the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 3:03 before Bo Cosman scored the game-winner for the home team.
