A close game saw the Austin Bruins just edge out the Aberdeen Wings on Saturday. The final score was 3-2.
The first period was scoreless.
The Bruins scored again, making it 1-0 with a goal from Ocean Wallace after 4:06 in the second period.
The Wings came back and made it 1-1 after Kevin MacKay opened the scoring in the period.
The Bruins took the lead 2-1 again when Braidan Simmons-Fischer scored the first goal with 05.24 remaining in the period.

The Bruins made it 3-1 again with a goal from Carson Riddle at 3:47 into the third period.
Cade Neilson narrowed the gap somewhat, but the Wings didn't come any closer than 3-2.
Both teams were called for 10 penalties.
The teams play again on Friday, April 5 at 7:15 p.m. CST at Odde Ice Center.
