Brown Bears beat in overtime the Jets

The teams were tied after 60 minutes but overtime saw the Kenai River Brown Bears come away with the close win over the Janesville Jets on road on Thursday. The final score was 2-1.

The teams were tied after 60 minutes but overtime saw the Kenai River Brown Bears come away with the close win over the Janesville Jets on road on Thursday. The final score was 2-1.

The game-winning goal was scored by Kenai River's Bryce Monrean.

The first period was scoreless.

Late in the second period, the Brown Bears took the lead when Ryan Finch scored the first goal assisted by Garret Drotts.

In the third, Jimmy Doyle scored in the middle of the third period, to tie the game. With this goal, the score was tied and then, the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 46 seconds before Bryce Monrean scored the game-winner for the road team, assisted by Caleb Huffman and Noah Holt.
