Brahmas win against Ice Wolves – despite deficit

Ahead of the final period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves led 2-1. However, the Lone Star Brahmas changed things in their favor and won. The game ended 4-2.

Ahead of the final period, the New Mexico Ice Wolves led 2-1. However, the Lone Star Brahmas changed things in their favor and won. The game ended 4-2.

The visiting Ice Wolves opened strong, right at the beginning of the game with Jake Keller scoring in the first minute, assisted by JD Metz.

The Ice Wolves made it 2-0 with a goal from Dillan Bentley at 2:28 into the second period.

The Brahmas narrowed the gap to 2-1 after Nicholas Niemo scored in the period.

But the Brahmas made three straight goals and went from 2-1 to 4-2. Daniels 4-2 goal came with 01.51 remaining in the game.

The teams will soon play again in the next matchup on Thursday, May 12 at 7:30 p.m. CST at Outpost Ice Arenas.
