The Titans opened strong, right at the beginning of the game with Ryan Novo scoring within the first minute of the first period, assisted by Eric Charpentier and Brendan Dumas.

The Black Bears tied the game 1-1 quickly. Early into the first period Jesse Horacek struck, assisted by Christian Catalano and Sean Kilcullen.

The Black Bears took the lead quickly. Early in the first period Brad McNeil scored, assisted by Christian Catalano and Jesse Horacek.

The Black Bears made it 3-1 again with a goal from Elliott Lareau with 08.21 remaining in the second period and took firm control of the game.

In the third, hunter ramos then scored three minutes into the third period, assisted by Samuel Stitz, and sealed the win.

The Black Bears are set to face the New Jersey Titans at 6:30 p.m. CST at Piney Orchard Ice Arena, while the Titans face the Maryland Black Bears at 6:30 p.m. CST at Piney Orchard Ice Arena. Both games are scheduled for Saturday, September 10.
