Bismarck Bobcats win against St. Cloud Norsemen in overtime

The Bismarck Bobcats managed to squeeze out an overtime home win against the St. Cloud Norsemen, ending 3-2 in the action on Friday.

The Bismarck Bobcats managed to squeeze out an overtime home win against the St. Cloud Norsemen, ending 3-2 in the action on Friday.

Bismarck's Erik Atchison scored the game-winning goal.

The first period was scoreless, and early into the second period, the Bobcats took the lead when Alexander Palchik scored the first goal assisted by Kyle Doll.

The Norsemen tied the score 1-1 in the very last seconds of the second period, with a goal from Ryan Cutler, assisted by Daniels Murnieks and Kade Peterson.

The Norsemen took the lead early in the third period when Jeremiah Konkel beat the goalie, assisted by Tyler Dysart and Broten Sabo.

The Bobcats tied the score 2-2 early in the third when Vertti Jantunen netted one, assisted by Evan Hunter.

In overtime, it took 4:51 before Erik Atchison scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Brandon Reller and Landon Fandel.
