Austin Bruins win against Minot Minotauros in overtime

With no decisive score in regulation, the Austin Bruins' home game against the Minot Minotauros ran into overtime on Friday. Austin snatched the win with a final score of 4-3.

Austin's Damon Furuseth scored the game-winning goal.

The first period was scoreless, and, after only seven seconds into the second period, the Bruins took the lead when Damon Furuseth scored the first goal assisted by Walter Zacher and Austin Salani.

The Minotauros tied the score 1-1 early when Joe Westlund opened the scoring.

Bruins' Walter Zacher tallied a goal with a minute left, making the score 2-1. Damon Furuseth and Jack Malinski assisted.

Chase LaPinta tied the game 2-2 early into the third period, assisted by Nick O'hanisain.

Jan- Kasper Bergman took the lead just one minute later, assisted by Nick O'hanisain and Tory Lund.

Matthew Desiderio tied the game 3-3 eight minutes later, assisted by Tyler Green and Austin Salani. With this tie the game went to overtime.

In overtime, it took 52 seconds before Damon Furuseth scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Gavin Morrissey and James Goffredo.
