The Tomahawks took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Drake Albers. Anthony Galante assisted.
Ryan Panico scored in the second period, assisted by James Barbour.
Drake Albers increased the lead to 3-0 early into the third period, assisted by Anthony Galante.
Jake LaRusso narrowed the gap to 3-1 five minutes later, assisted by Sixten Jennersjo and Matthew DeSpirt.
The Tomahawks increased the lead to 4-1 with 01.47 remaining of the third after a goal from Johnny Ulicny.
