The Magicians took the lead 4-2 once again when Chris Kernan found the back of the net with 07.29 remaining in the period and took firm control of the game.

The Brown Bears came back once again, making it 4-3 after Nick Ostbloom scored in the period.

The Magicians managed to decide the game 5-3 with 01.28 left when Mason Campbell netted one.

The Brown Bears were whistled for 20 penalties, while the Magicians received 12 penalties.

The teams meet again on Saturday, April 6 at 10:30 p.m. CST, this time in Kenai River at Soldotna Regional Sports Complex.
