The Rink Live's Mick Hatten and Jess Myers chat with journalist Shane Frederick about Mankato hosting Hockey Day Minnesota for the first time, past Hockey Day events, the growth of hockey in the region, St. Thomas' transition to Division I, covering the Mavericks and more in this interview.

The official Hockey Day is Saturday, Jan. 22 in Mankato, and there are a number of games on the schedule .
