The Huskies opened strong, taking the lead when Vladislav Firstov scored the first goal after 11:39, but the Huskies' Aidan McDonough tied it up just three minutes later.
There was a delay before the next goal came. Roman Kinal scored at 13:47 into the second, assisted by Chase Bradley and Harrison Rees, to give the Huskies the lead.
