The Crusaders increased the lead to 2-0 late into the first period when Jack Ricketts scored, assisted by Grayson Constable and Mack Oliphant.

The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Crusaders.

The Crusaders increased the lead to 5-1 within the first minute of the third period when Liam McLinskey scored yet again.

The Yellowjackets narrowed the gap to 5-2 right at the start into the third period, after only 45 seconds when Nicholas Cardelli found the back of the net.

Jack Ricketts increased the lead to 6-2 late in the third, assisted by Jack Robilotti and Jake Higgins.

Dustin Manz narrowed the gap to 6-3 just one minute later, assisted by Evan Stella and Jordan Biro.

The Crusaders increased the lead to 7-3 with 16 seconds of play remaining in the third after a goal from Liam McLinskey.
