Holy Angels score and win with four goals in third period

The road-team Armstrong/Cooper were still very much in the game and winning against the Holy Angels before the third period in the matchup. But then, Holy Angels made an effort and fought back to win by 6-1.

The road-team Armstrong/Cooper were still very much in the game and winning against the Holy Angels before the third period in the matchup. But then, Holy Angels made an effort and fought back to win by 6-1.

The first period was scoreless, and halfway through the second period, the Holy Angels players took the lead when Emilie Anderson opened the scoring assisted by Harper Poehling and Audrey Garton.

Late, the Holy Angels players made it 2-0 with a goal from Bella LaMere.

The Holy Angels players increased the lead to 3-0, after only 15 seconds into the third period when Marissa Jung beat the goalie, assisted by Regan Loichle.

The Holy Angels players increased the lead to 4-0 within the first minute when Marissa Jung found the back of the net yet again, assisted by Taylor Lesnar.

Audrey Garton increased the lead to 5-0 nine minutes later, assisted by Sara Cooney and Bella LaMere.

Cara Cook narrowed the gap to 5-1 just one minute later.
